Why David Garcia

Why Choose Us

Six reasons homeowners and businesses across Sarasota, Bradenton, Venice, North Port and the Tampa Bay side keep calling us back.

23 Years of Concrete

Driveways, slabs, stamped decks, curbs and site work, poured on Florida sand for more than two decades. We have seen every way a slab can fail and we build so yours doesn't.

100% Detail-Oriented

Forms set true, base compacted, reinforcement in, joints cut where the slab wants to crack, edges tooled, finish even. The details are the difference between five years and thirty.

Honest, Up-Front Pricing

Free estimates and a written price before any work starts. If a slab only needs a panel replaced, we say so instead of selling you the whole driveway.

Open Seven Days, 6 to 6

Every day of the week, 6 AM – 6 PM. We pour at first light before the heat and the storms, and we're reachable on weekends when you're actually home.

Residential & Commercial

A shed pad or a warehouse slab, a front walk or a parking lot. No job is too big or too small, and the same crew that estimates it is the crew that pours it.

Built for the Gulf Coast

Sand, a high water table, afternoon downpours and salt air. Every slab gets the base, the drainage fall and the mix that this ground and this climate need.

Frequently Asked Questions

We're based in Sarasota (34237) and work roughly a 50-mile radius: all of Sarasota County — Sarasota, Siesta Key, Osprey, Nokomis, Venice, Englewood and North Port — Charlotte County around Port Charlotte and Rotonda West — Manatee County including Bradenton, Palmetto, Ellenton, Parrish, Duette, Longboat Key, Anna Maria Island and Holmes Beach, south Hillsborough County from Apollo Beach, Ruskin, Sun City Center and Wimauma up to Riverview and Valrico, plus Wauchula and St. Petersburg. If you're not sure whether you're in range, call and ask.

Everything concrete, for homes and businesses: driveways, stamped and decorative concrete, courtyards, patios and pool decks, sidewalks and walkways, slabs and pads of every size, concrete additions tied to what's already there, concrete repair, curb installation and repair, grading and site prep, concrete removal and demolition. One crew does all of it, from the tear-out to the final broom.

It depends on the size, the thickness, the finish, and what has to happen first — tearing out an old drive, bringing in fill, cutting a curb. A plain broom-finished driveway is priced very differently from a stamped and coloured one. We come out, measure, look at the ground and give you a written price before any work starts. Estimates are always free.

Seven days a week, 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Concrete in Florida is poured early — before the heat sets the mix and before the afternoon storms — so we start at first light, and we're available on weekends because that's when most people are home to talk about a job.

Yes. Veterans get 5% off any job, and so do seniors. And if you refer a neighbor, a friend or a family member and their project is approved, we pay you a $300 referral reward. Just mention it when you call.

You can walk on it after about 24 hours. Keep cars off a driveway for 7 days, and keep heavy trucks — a moving van, a delivery, an RV — off it for 28 days, which is when concrete reaches its full design strength. We rope off the slab and tell you the dates before we leave.

If the slab is basically sound and the problem is one settled panel, a trip edge, some surface spalling, a broken step or a crack or two, repair is usually right and much cheaper. If it's cracked all over, heaved in several places, sunk into a washout, or was poured too thin to begin with, patching it is money thrown after bad and we'll tell you so — with the price of both so you can decide.

Stamped concrete is one solid, reinforced slab with a pattern and colour pressed into the surface, then sealed. Pavers are individual blocks on a sand bed. Stamped concrete doesn't shift, sink, grow weeds in the joints or give ants somewhere to live — the three things Florida does to pavers — and it costs less to install. Pavers are easier to replace one at a time if something is cut into later.

Yes. Driveways, aprons, curb cuts and public sidewalks usually need a county or city permit, and most communities need an HOA approval for anything visible from the street. We tell you what's needed up front, prepare the paperwork, and pour to whatever the inspector wants to see.

Yes — building slabs, footings and stem walls, parking lots and drive aisles, dumpster and equipment pads, public sidewalks and ADA ramps, and curb and gutter, for builders, business owners and property managers across the Gulf Coast. We're licensed and insured, we pour to engineered plans and inspections, and we're used to working in phases around other trades.
