Stamped Concrete

The look of flagstone, slate, pavers or wood — in one solid, sealed slab

Free EstimateSarasota & the Gulf Coast · Open 7 Days

Stamped concrete gives a pool deck, patio, walkway or driveway the look of natural stone or pavers without the weeds, the shifting and the ant hills that come up between real pavers in Florida. We pour the slab, colour it — integral colour through the mix, a colour hardener broadcast on top, or both — and press the pattern in while it is still plastic: random flagstone, ashlar slate, cobblestone, herringbone brick, wood plank and more. A release agent gives the antiqued second tone, and a sealer locks the colour in and makes it easy to hose off. It is one continuous slab, so there is nothing to sink, tilt or grow through.

Our Process

1

Pick the Look

We bring pattern and colour samples to the house and match them to the roof, the pavers next door or the pool coping.

2

Pour

Slab formed and reinforced like any other — the stamp is a finish, not a shortcut on the concrete under it.

3

Stamp & Colour

Colour hardener broadcast, release applied, mats pressed in row by row while the concrete is at exactly the right stiffness.

4

Wash & Seal

Release washed back to reveal the two tones, joints cut, sealer rolled on once the slab has cured.
