Driveways
New driveways, extensions and replacements — formed, poured and finished to last
A driveway is the biggest piece of concrete most homes own and the first thing anyone sees. We pour new driveways for new builds, replace the cracked and heaved ones on older houses, widen single drives to double, and add the turnaround or the third bay a growing household needs. Every driveway is built the same way: the old surface out, the sub-base compacted, the forms set to drain away from the garage, fibre or wire reinforcement in, a minimum four inches of 3,000-plus PSI concrete placed and finished — broom, smooth or stamped — and control joints cut where the slab wants to crack, not where it happens to. In Florida's sandy soil, the base and the reinforcement are what decide whether a driveway lasts five years or thirty.
