Concrete Removal

Old slabs, drives, walks and pads broken out, hauled off and the ground left ready

Free EstimateSarasota & the Gulf Coast · Open 7 Days

Before the new driveway goes in, the old one has to come out — and sometimes the old concrete just needs to go: the cracked pad where a shed used to stand, the walkway that leads nowhere since the addition, the patio that is coming out for a pool, the slab under a mobile home that has been removed. We break concrete out with the right equipment for the site — a skid steer with a breaker on an open drive, hand tools and a saw where it is up against the house — load it and haul it to a recycler, and leave the ground graded and ready for whatever comes next. We saw-cut clean edges where only part of a slab is coming out, so the new work meets a straight line.

Our Process

1

Look at the Site

Thickness, reinforcement, what is under it and how the equipment gets in — that is what sets the price.

2

Cut

Saw-cut lines where the removal has to stop clean at a wall, a slab or a property line.

3

Break & Load

Broken out, rebar cut, loaded straight onto the trailer or the dumpster.

4

Grade

The base raked, filled and compacted, ready for new concrete, sod or a pool crew.
